Regular Season Round 11: Agram ZG - Tresnjevka 52-89

Bottom-ranked ZKK Agram (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 89-52 loss to sixth ranked Tresnjevka (6-5) in Zagreb on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Tresnjevka led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Tresnjevka forced 24 ZKK Agram turnovers and outrebounded them 56-43 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by ZKK Agram's players. It was a great evening for forward Anja Skara (184-91) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Anita Kelava (185-97) helped adding 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Tresnjevka players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Iva Meznaric (186-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Branka Vukicevic (173-82) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Tresnjevka moved-up to fifth place. ZKK Agram lost their eleventh game in a row. They still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Tresnjevka will meet higher ranked Jolly (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ZKK Agram will play against Studenac Omis (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
