There was no surprise when 7th ranked Oita Heat Devils (9-13) were outplayed on the road by third ranked Shimane Magic (15-7) 80-61 on Sunday. The game without a history. Shimane Magic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for center Jeral Davis (216-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) helped adding 21 points and 13 rebounds. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Power forward Cyrus Tate (203-85, college: Iowa) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV, agency: Top Notch Sports) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Shimane Magic have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Fukuoka Rizing. Oita Heat Devils lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
