The most exciting game of round 16 in the Nazionale A took place in Agrigento. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Treviglio (8-6) to fourth ranked Agrigento (10-5) 73-70 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 44-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (196-85) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Alfredo Moruzzi (193-80) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Agrigento's coach Franco Ciani used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) replied with 28 points and the former international guard Davide Reati (193-88) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Treviglio. Newly promoted Agrigento maintains fourth position with 10-5 record. Treviglio at the other side dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. Agrigento are looking forward to face Lucca (#5) on the road in the next round. Treviglio will play against Reggio Calabr. in Reggio Calabria and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
