Ninth-ranked Miyazaki Shining Suns (3-19) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (15-7) on Sunday. The visitors from Fukuoka managed to secure only one-point victory 76-75. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-75. It was a great evening for American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Top Notch Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Court Side) helped adding 16 points and 4 assists. American swingman Ricky Woods (194-84, college: SE Louisiana) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Four Miyazaki Shining Suns players scored in double figures. Miyazaki Shining Suns' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fukuoka Rizing have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Shimane SM. Miyazaki Shining Suns lost third consecutive game.
