WCBA top team - Zhejiang Far East (14-4) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat eighth ranked Qujing Yunnan (7-11) in Hangzhou 99-85. Zhejiang Far East dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Qujing Yunnan's 48. Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (203-91) notched a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 6 blocks (on 19-of-21 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international swingman Lan Bian (185-86) supported her with 15 points and 7 assists. Even a double-double of 32 points and 15 rebounds by American center Lindsay Taylor (203-81, college: UCSB) did not help to save the game for Qujing Yunnan. Forward Betty Cao (180-87) added 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zhejiang Far East have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-4 record, which they share with Shanxi. Qujing Yunnan lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Guangdong. Zhejiang Far East will meet Liaoning Hengye (#5) in the next round. Qujing Yunnan will play against Bayi Kylin in Yinzhou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
