There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Shinshu BW (13-9) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Sendai 89ers (7-12) 83-76 on Tuesday. Sendai 89ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for guard Yasuaki Arai (180-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. American forward T.J.
