Very important is a home loss of third ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (8-5) against fifth ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (8-5) on Wednesday night. Host Gravelines-Dunkerque was defeated by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket in Gravelines 88-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gravelines-Dunkerque. The game was mostly controlled by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. Gravelines-Dunkerque was better in fourth quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Gravelines-Dunkerque. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against JSF Nanterre (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
