Bottom-ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion managed to get the second consecutive victory on Thursday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked Hap.Petah Tikva 74-57. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 17-point difference suggests that Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. And what about a second win in a row after ...six consecutive loses. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion. Hap.Petah Tikva managed to win second period 18-15. Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion will meet league's leader Maccabi Ashdod on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hap.Petah Tikva will play against Ramat Hasharon (#3) and hope to secure a win.
