Very expected game when 12th ranked Lechugueros (12-23) lost to second ranked Toros (28-7) in Nuevo Laredo 66-76. The game was mostly controlled by Toros. Lechugueros was better in third quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Toros forced 21 Lechugueros turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV, agency: ProSportsCareers) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field).
