A very close game took place in Tenerife between CB Canarias and Assignia Manresa. Fourteenth ranked CB Canarias (5-10) got a very close home victory over 17th ranked Assignia Manresa (2-13). American guard Troy DeVries (193-82, college: N.Mexico) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds and American-Madagascar power forward Charles Ramsdell (208-85, college: Tulsa, agency: Court Side) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Assignia Manresa in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted CB Canarias maintains fourteenth place with 5-10 record. Loser Assignia Manresa keeps the seventeenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Lagun Aro GBC. CB Canarias will meet at home higher ranked UCAM Murcia (#12) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
