The game in Rapla was also quite interesting. Third ranked Kalev/Cramo (8-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Rapla (6-7). Kalev/Cramo managed to secure a 6-point victory 80-74 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Rapla won third quarter 28-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Keith McLeod (190-79, college: Bowling Green) who helped to win the game recording 7 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import power forward Gary Wilkinson (205-82, college: Utah St.) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) with 17 points and guard Martin Paasoja (190-93) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains third position with 8-5 record having nine points less than leader Tarvas. Loser Rapla dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with TTU and Valga. Kalev/Cramo will meet KK Parnu (#7) on the road in the next round. Rapla will play against the league's second-placed TU/Rock in Tartu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
