Rather predictable result when third ranked Valencia Basket (11-4) won against at home 7th ranked Unicaja Malaga (8-7) 82-64. The game was mostly controlled by Valencia Basket. Unicaja Malaga was better in third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valencia Basket made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Justin Doellman (206-85, college: Xavier) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Eritrean-Polish swingman Thomas Kelati (195-82, college: Washington St., agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 11 points. Valencia Basket maintains third place with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader Real Madrid, which they share with G.Canaria 2014. Unicaja Malaga at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Valencia Basket's next round opponent will be Gescrap BB (#5) in Bilbao. Unicaja Malaga will play on the road against G.Canaria 2014 in Las Palmas.
