Regular Season Round 20: Eagles - Nassjo 80-67

Rather expected game when 12th ranked Nassjo (3-17) lost to tenth ranked White Eagles (5-15) in Stockholm 67-80. It looked good early as Nassjo took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then White Eagles had a 23-12 second period charge getting the lead and Nassjo was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-80. White Eagles forced 19 Nassjo turnovers. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin center Marko Ljujic (205-90, agency: BBEH Cokrlija) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Serbian guard Nenad Stefanovic (193-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 19 points. Four White Eagles players scored in double figures. American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian guard Tut Ruach (188-85) added 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals respectively for the guests. Newly promoted White Eagles maintains tenth position with 5-15 record. Nassjo lost fourth consecutive game. Nassjo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. White Eagles' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Stockholm to the arena 08 Stockholm.
