Very predictable result in Zacatecas where tenth ranked Barreteros (15-22) smashed 15th ranked Gansos (6-32) 95-62. The game was mostly controlled by Barreteros. Gansos was better in fourth quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Barreteros dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Gansos' 36. Barreteros forced 21 Gansos turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Gansos' players. It was a very good performance for American forward Reginald McKoy (198-80, college: Kennesaw St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds.
