Very important is a home loss of third ranked Boras Basket (14-6) against fifth ranked Sodertalje Kings (12-5) on Friday night. Host Boras Basket was defeated by Sodertalje Kings in Boras 92-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Boras Basket. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kenneth Simms (203-86, college: Cumberland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) who added 22 points and 6 assists during the contest. American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) responded with 26 points and 6 assists and American-Israeli guard Jason Thomas (191-82, college: American) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Sodertalje Kings have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Boras Basket at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost. They share it with Uppsala. Sodertalje Kings will play against KFUM Jamtland (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Boras Basket will play against Solna Vikings (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
