An interesting game for Sundsvall Dragons (17-3) which hosted in Sundsvall 4th ranked Solna Vikings (12-8). First ranked Sundsvall Dragons had an easy win 91-71. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Solna Vikings. The game without a history. Sundsvall Dragons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sundsvall Dragons outrebounded Solna Vikings 46-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Michael Cuffee (195-83, college: Middle Tenn.St.) supported him with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Donald Johnson (201, college: CSU Bakersfield) did not help to save the game for Solna Vikings. Slovakian power forward Justin Sedlak (205-87, college: Florida Tech) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Sundsvall Dragons maintains first position with 17-3 record. Loser Solna Vikings dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost. Sundsvall Dragons will meet bottom-ranked Nassjo (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Solna Vikings will play against Boras Basket (#3) and hope to secure a win.
