Regular Season Round 15: Laval - UQAM 63-77

Citadines can celebrate finally their first win this season after three consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Quebec City, QC, where they defeated Rouge et Or (2-4) 77-63 on Friday. The game without a history. Citadines led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for forward Gregory Saint-Amand (193-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Alexandre Bernard (196) helped adding 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four Citadines players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized Bosnian forward Boris Hadzimuratovic (204-91, college: High School) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Thibaud Dezutter scored 8 points and 4 assists. Rouge et Or's coach tested eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Citadines maintains fifth place with 1-3 record. Loser Rouge et Or keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
