Regular Season Round 14: San Salvatore - Cremona 73-67

Very expected game when 12th ranked Cremona (3-11) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked San Salvatore (7-7) 73-67. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bulgarian forward Roksana Yordanova (184-84) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Anna Lussu (163-85) supported her with 22 points and 7 steals. Even a double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds by forward Martina Brusadin (181-83) did not help to save the game for Cremona. Forward Giulia Maffenini (174-92) added 20 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted San Salvatore maintains seventh position in North with 7-7 record, which they share with Alghero. Cremona at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth place with 11 games lost. San Salvatore's next round opponent will be Valmadrera (#11) on the road. Cremona will play against the league's second-placed San Martino and will have a slim chance for a victory.
