Very expected game when 10th ranked Gunma (4-20) was smashed at home by second ranked Iwate Big Bulls (18-6) 90-62 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-62. Iwate Big Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Gunma's 38. They outrebounded Gunma 39-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. American forward Lawrence Blackledge (206-86, college: Marquette, agency: Top Notch Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks.
