Guard Noam Matalon (197-87, agency: Avi Zilberman) replied with 19 points and 4 assists and American forward Monta McGhee (198-79, college: Lewis, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Elitzur Yavne. Hapoel Afula moved-up to second place, which they share with Ironi Nahariya and Hod Hasharon. Elitzur Yavne at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Ironi Ramat Gan. Hapoel Afula will play against Hapoel Kazrin (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
