The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Lancers (7-3) in Waterloo, ON on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by sixth ranked Golden Hawks (3-7) 112-92. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lancers. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 112-92. Golden Hawks made 29-of-37 free shots (78.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Lancers turnovers. Guard Maxwell Allin (193) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard William Coulthard (188) contributed with 36 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winners. The former international forward Lien Phillip (203-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Enrico Diloreto (185-90) added 23 points in the effort for Lancers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Golden Hawks moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Lancers at the other side still keep top position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
