Basketligan top team - Sundsvall Dragons (18-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked Nassjo (3-18) 101-87. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Sundsvall Dragons dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Nassjo's 44. Sundsvall Dragons forced 22 Nassjo turnovers. Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) nailed 33 points (!!!) for the winning side and American guard Michael Cuffee (195-83, college: Middle Tenn.St.) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian guard Tut Ruach (188-85) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Nassjo in the defeat.
