Not a big story in a game in Kalitheas where 14th ranked Panelefsiniakos (2-10) was defeated by sixth ranked Ikaros (6-6) 85-78 on Saturday. Panelefsiniakos was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 27-16 charge of Ikaros, which allowed them to win the game. Ikaros outrebounded Panelefsiniakos 32-21 including 21 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Senegalese forward Mouhammad Faye (208-85, college: SMU) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian center Mladen Pantic (209-82, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Nikos Liakopoulos (189-83, agency: FCM) who recorded 26 points and 5 assists and point guard Giannis Kyriakopoulos (185-83) added 15 points respectively.
