We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Zacatecas where eleventh ranked Correcaminos (16-24) defeated 10th ranked Barreteros (17-23) 90-85. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Barreteros won third quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American forward Marquise Gainous (206-76, college: TCU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized American guard Lorenzo Keeler (188-85, college: Cal Poly - SLO) supported him with 21 points and 4 steals. Four Correcaminos players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 6 rebounds by Puerto Rican-American forward Florentino Valencia (198-85, college: Toledo, agency: Paris Global Sports) did not help to save the game for Barreteros.
