Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Boulazac Basket (4-11) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (7-8) 82-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Limoges CSP Elite. Boulazac Basket managed to win third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Boulazac Basket 35-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for naturalized Congolese forward Nobel Boungou Colo (202-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Joseph Gomis (180-78) helped adding 12 points and 7 assists. Four Limoges CSP Elite players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-86, college: George Mason, agency: SportsTalent) with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Darnell Harris (181-86, college: La Salle) scored 15 points. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 5 other teams. Boulazac Basket lost fifth consecutive game. Boulazac Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will meet at home higher ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Boulazac Basket will play against the league's second-placed Le Mans (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
