A very interesting game took place in Chieti. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 9th ranked Chieti (8-9) to eighth ranked Omegna (9-8) 92-90 in the game for the eighth place. Omegna made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Chieti turnovers and outrebounded them 39-25 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds.
