Regular Season Round 14: TTU - Tln Kalev 70-54

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: TTU (#4) and Tln Kalev (#8). TTU (9-7) smashed visiting Tln Kalev (4-13) by 16 points 70-54. The game was mostly controlled by TTU. Tln Kalev managed to win second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. TTU had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Erik Keedus (198-90) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five TTU players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American forward Ike Okoye (206, college: Boise St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and forward Janis Vahter (193-86) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. TTU have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 9-7 record. Tln Kalev at the other side keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. TTU are looking forward to face Rapla (#6) on the road in the next round. Tln Kalev will play against KK Parnu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
