No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Aanekosken (10-8) beat 8th ranked Kerava Energia Team (6-12) in Aanekoski 70-63. It looked good early as Kerava Energia Team took an 16-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Aanekosken took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 7 points. They made 22-of-23 charity shots (95.7 percent) during the game. Aanekosken forced 27 Kerava Energia Team turnovers and outrebounded them 44-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American center Kenya Robinson (182-70, college: New Orleans) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Aanekosken maintains sixth place with 10-8 record, which they share with HoNsU. Kerava Energia Team at the other side keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Aanekosken will play against HoNsU (#7) in Jyvaskyla in the next round. Kerava Energia Team will play on the road against the league's leader Catz Lappeenranta and hopes to get back on the winning track.
