Regular Season Round 13: CLS Knights - NSH GMC Riau 68-54

No shocking result in a game when third ranked CLS Knights (7-2) beat 11th ranked NSH GMC Riau (1-7) in Surabaya 68-54. CLS Knights forced 22 NSH GMC Riau turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Rachmad Utomo (180-85) stepped up and scored 9 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Wijaya Saputra (184-85) chipped in 11 points. At the losing side center Max Yanto (215-83) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Juliano Sucipto (188-82) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. CLS Knights moved-up to second place. NSH GMC Riau lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. CLS Knights will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. NSH GMC Riau will play on the road against Pelita Jaya (#3) in Jakarta to get more than just one victory in their record.
