The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Gaiters (5-2) in Lennoxville, QC on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by Redmen (5-2) 63-60. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Gaiters. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 4-2 record before this meeting. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gaiters won fourth quarter 22-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Gaiters 38-23 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Simon Bibeau (188-91) who scored 17 points. American guard Adrian Hynes-Guery (190, college: Amer.Internat.) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Mike Andrews (208) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Onnex Blackwood (188) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Redmen keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Bishop's. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
