No shocking result in a game when third ranked Pelita Jaya (7-1) crushed 11th ranked NSH GMC Riau (1-8) in Jakarta 73-38 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Pelita Jaya led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NSH GMC Riau to just 7 points in second quarter. Pelita Jaya dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to NSH GMC Riau's 24. Pelita Jaya forced 19 NSH GMC Riau turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Daniel Wenas (188-92) notched 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international forward Dimas Aryo Dewanto (180-86) supported him with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Pelita Jaya players scored in double figures. Even 9 points and 6 rebounds by Reza Israelli (182-82) did not help to save the game for NSH GMC Riau. Center Max Yanto (215-83) added 6 points and 6 rebounds for the guests.
