The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Foshan's (10-12) home victory over 13th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (8-13) 118-110 on Wednesday. Jiangsu Dragons trailed by 16 points at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 31-22 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 110-118 at the end of the game. Foshan looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Jiangsu Dragons' players. Jiangsu Dragons were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds. Guard LingXu Zeng (193-87) helped adding 20 points and 10 assists. American forward Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and international Li Yi (203-85) scored 30 points and 6 rebounds. Four Foshan and five Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Foshan. They maintain twelfth place with 10-12 record. Loser Jiangsu Dragons keep the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Foshan will face higher ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#10) in Hangzhou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jiangsu Dragons will play at home against Bayi Rockets in Ningbo.
