The game in Hangzhou supposed to be also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Bayi Rockets (11-11) played at the court of eighth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (12-10). Zhejiang Guangsha Lions smashed Bayi Rockets 113-73. The game without a history. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Rockets' 26 and made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Bayi Rockets 50-24 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Bayi Rockets' players. 27 personal fouls committed by Bayi Rockets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Panamanian-American swingman Gary Forbes (201-85, college: Virginia) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. International swingman Bo Zhang (199-89) answered with 26 points (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international guard Shuo Han (196-86) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bayi Rockets. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Shanxi Zh. Bayi Rockets at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' next round opponent will be Shanghai Sharks (#16) at home and are hoping to win another game. Bayi Rockets will play against Jiangsu Dragons (#13) in Nanjing.
