An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Krakow. First ranked Artego Bydg. faced 3rd ranked Wisla Can-Pak. Guests from Bydgoszcz (13-1) defeated host Wisla Can-Pak (11-3) 65-49. The game without a history. Artego Bydg. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was American guard Julie McBride (165-82, college: Syracuse) who scored 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Agnieszka Szott (185-82, agency: Data Plus Group) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Artego Bydg. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Tina Charles (193-88, college: Connecticut, agency: LBM Management) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and Hungarian center Dora Horti (193-87, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Artego Bydg. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record. Defending champion Wisla Can-Pak keeps the third place with three games lost. Artego Bydg. are looking forward to face AZS Rzeszow (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wisla Can-Pak will play against Widzew (#10) in Lodz and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
