Very significant was Grindavik's (#1) 90-84 road victory against their biggest opponent Snaefell. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Snaefell. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The guests were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 6-point deficit before their 30-18 run, which allowed them to win the game. Grindavik made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Grindavik outrebounded Snaefell 49-37 including 34 on the defensive glass. Snaefell will play on the road against Stjarnan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
