Second ranked Perth Wildcats (12-4) crushed at home 7th ranked Cairns Taipans (5-11) by 22 points 86-64, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Perth Wildcats. Cairns Taipans was better in third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Perth Wildcats forced 21 Cairns Taipans turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international forward Shawn Redhage (203-81, college: Arizona St., agency: Warren Sports International) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 rebounds.
