An interesting game for Golden Bears (11-2) which hosted in Edmonton, AB 4th placed Wolfpack (6-8). First ranked Golden Bears had an easy win 74-55. The game was mostly controlled by Golden Bears. Wolfpack was better in fourth quarter 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was naturalized Kenyan guard Kenneth Otieno (188) who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Todd Bergen-Henengouwen (196-91) chipped in 6 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Zach Usherwood who recorded 10 points and Ivan Bozinovic added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Golden Bears maintains first place with 11-2 record, which they share with Ottawa and UBC. Wolfpack at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Golden Bears' next round opponent will be Heat (#8) in Kelowna, BC and are hoping to win another game. Wolfpack will play on the road against the league's second-placed Huskies (#2) in Saskatoon, SK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
