Regular Season Round 24: Zhejiang CB - Foshan LL 124-115

Everything went according to plan in Hangzhou where tenth ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (11-11) beat 12th ranked Foshan (10-13) 124-115 on Friday. Foshan trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 36-31 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 115-124 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Eddy Curry (211-82) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) chipped in 34 points (!!!) and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Shavlik Randolph (208-83, college: Duke) who recorded a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds and forward Junwei Ren (203-90) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank moved-up to eighth place, which they share with DongGuan L. Loser Foshan keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will meet at home Bayi Rockets (#10) in the next round. Foshan will play against DongGuan Leopards and hope to secure a win.
