KML top team - TU/Rock (14-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Valga (8-9) in Tartu 97-71. The game without a history. TU/Rock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. TU/Rock outrebounded Valga 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Justin Ingram (188-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international swingman Marek Doronin (200-83) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Latvian guard Edgars Cunda (195-84) who recorded 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Heiko Rannula (185-83) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively. TU/Rock have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-0 record. Loser Valga keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. TU/Rock will meet at home TTU (#4) in the next round. Valga will play against Hito/Johvi and hope to secure a win.
