Regular Season Round 13: Kronos AD - PAOK 58-53

The game with biggest difference of round 13 in A1 was host Kronos AD's (6-7) victory at home over 4th placed PAOK (9-4) 58-53 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But PAOK won third quarter 13-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international power forward Nena Nikolaidou (190-79) fired 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Jasmine Smith (172, college: St.Mary's, CA) chipped in 14 points. American center Caila Desroches (193, college: Chicago St.) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Dimitra Giannopoulou (184-84) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four PAOK players scored in double figures. Kronos AD moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ikaros Kalitheas and Aris. PAOK at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Kronos AD is looking forward to face bottom-ranked GAC Eunikos (#12) in Liosa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PAOK will play at home against the league's second-placed Athinaikos (#2) in Athens and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
