We should mention about the upset which took place in Glyfadas, where higher ranked Terpsithea (5-8) lost at home to eleventh ranked Panionios (2-11) 60-68. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Terpsithea won third quarter 13-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Panionios forced 24 Terpsithea turnovers. Forward Zafiria Giabani (185-92) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and forward Enisa Semaniakou (183-88) accounted for 18 points and 8 rebounds. Cypriot guard Eleana Pantazi (177-83) came up with 25 points and 4 assists and guard Alexia Botsari (175-83) added 2 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively for Terpsithea in the defeat. Panionios maintains eleventh place with 2-11 record. Newly promoted Terpsithea dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Panionios' next round opponent will be higher ranked AO Ellinikou (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
