No shocking result in a game in Szczecin where first ranked Wilki Morskie (11-1) defeated 10th ranked Suchy Las (2-10) 68-60 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-14. But Suchy Las won second period 17-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Wilki Morskie forced 25 Suchy Las turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Piotr Wojdyr (217-90, agency: Promotex) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Piotr Pluta (192-81, agency: Court Side) chipped in 21 points. point guard Piotr Wieloch (180-94) produced 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Jakub Fiszer (185-95) added 11 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wilki Morskie have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 11-1 record. Suchy Las lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the tenth place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
