There was a surprise result in Krakow where eighth ranked Legia (5-7) won against one of their biggest challengers AZS AGH Alstom (5-7) 64-52 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Legia. AZS AGH Alstom was better in second period 17-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Legia held AZS AGH Alstom to an opponent 20.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded AZS AGH Alstom 43-28 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Legia made 11 blocks.
