Regular Season Round 14: Notec - Basket Pila 80-61

There was a small surprise in Inowroclaw where ninth ranked Notec (4-8) outscored 6th ranked Basket Pila (5-7) 80-61 on Saturday. The game without a history. Notec led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was forward Mikolaj Grod (194-89) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Center Wojciech Pagacz (203-89) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Wojciech Rogacewicz (203-86, college: Mount Olive) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and the former international guard Dawid Witos (190-83, agency: Promotex) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Notec moved-up to eighth place in Group A, which they share with GTK Gdynia. Basket Pila at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
