Not a big story in a game in London, ON where 8th ranked Mustangs (1-12) were rolled over by second ranked Thunderwolves (8-5) 90-52 on Saturday. Thunderwolves forced 21 Mustangs turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Matthew Schmidt (198-89) scored 27 points and 4 steals (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Greg Carter (178-90) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Thunderwolves players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Greg Morrow (190) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Quinn Henderson (193) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Thunderwolves maintains second position with 8-5 record having four points less than leader McGill. Mustangs lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
