Eighth-ranked Polpharma (7-10) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Anwil (11-6) in Wloclawek. Anwil managed to secure only three-point victory 90-87. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Polpharma. Five Polpharma players scored in double figures. Polpharma's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Anwil have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Asseco Prok. and Trefl Sopot. Polpharma at the other side keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Anwil will play against Siarka Jezioro (#9) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Polpharma will play at home against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
