Regular Season Round 13: GAC Eunikos - Panathinaikos 45-62

Leader Panathinaikos delivered the twelfth victory. This time they beat bottom-ranked GAC Eunikos (0-13) 62-45 in Liosa. The game without a history. Panathinaikos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding GAC Eunikos to just 7 points in second quarter. Panathinaikos forced 20 GAC Eunikos turnovers and outrebounded them 46-30 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Dimitra Kalentzou (174-78) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Aristea Maglara (168-83) contributed with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Panathinaikos' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nikolina Ioannidou (174-94) answered with 12 points and Anastasia Tserou added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for GAC Eunikos. Panathinaikos (12-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Athinaikos and AO Ellinikou.
