Dandenong Rangers smashed Canberra Capitals 98-73 on Saturday. The game without a history. Dandenong Rangers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Canberra Capitals' 32 and made 26-of-28 free shots (92.9 percent) during the game, while Canberra Capitals only scored eight points from the stripe. Dandenong Rangers forced 19 Canberra Capitals turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Monica Wright (180-88, college: Virginia, agency: LBM Management) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. International Kathleen Macleod (167-86) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. Four Dandenong Rangers players scored in double figures.
