Regular Season Round 22: Waterloo - McMaster 54-70

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked McMaster (6-7) beat on the road bottom-ranked Waterloo (0-13) 70-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. McMaster led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. McMaster forced 32 Waterloo turnovers. Waterloo was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Hailey Milligan (190-89, college: Canisius) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Danielle Boiago (170) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. McMaster's coach Theresa Burns used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Jacqui Rodrigues (173) responded with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Mackenzie Lougheed (180) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. McMaster moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Laurier and Lakehead. Loser Waterloo still closes the standings with 13 games lost. McMaster will face league's second-placed Windsor on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Waterloo will play against Guelph (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
