Regular Season Round 20: Tromso - Baerum Basket 89-78

An exciting game was played in Tromso. First ranked Tromso faced 3rd ranked Baerum Basket. Host Tromso (14-3) defeated guests from Bekkestua (10-9) 89-78. It looked good early as Baerum Basket took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tromso had a 29-22 second period charge getting the lead and Baerum Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-89. Swingman Lionel Green (196-84, college: SUNO) replied with 24 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Ryan Ferranti (195-86, college: Rollins) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Baerum Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tromso maintains first position with 14-3 record. Baerum Basket at the other side keeps the third place with nine games lost. Tromso will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Baerum Basket will play on the road against Asker Aliens and hopes to get back on the winning track.
